Who are we?
We are a small team of multi-disciplinary artists who publish weekly poetry, collaborative books and a blog. We run regular events focused on building and maintaining community. These include gigs, poetry nights, and workshops.

Our first poetry book, Volume One, is available to order here. It is also stocked in Kemptown Bookshop and City Books in Hove. Volume One is an anthology of many artists, musicians and writers currently living and working in Brighton. It is a landmark for the abundant artistic climate in the city, with features from multiple voices that contribute to the wider scope of the modern art world.

Mission Statement
We are Circle Bird, a platform for writers to connect and celebrate each other's work, a press containing all of your voices. Our rebellion is freedom; to express, to play, to lament.

In a world of self publishing and self promotion, we uphold friendship, we promote community. We create a dwelling space for us all to exist at once, within the evolving confines of a literary press that believes in change and growth and exploration.

We exist beyond the quiet world of private notebooks, libraries, bookshelves and out into the vibrancy of community. Together we explore chaos, language, form, big ideas, small moments, all corners of the human brain, the earthly, and the cosmic.
